(2) visit to Kyoto Univ. (free of charge)
Kyoto University is the second national university established in Japan, and located in downtown Kyoto. In this tour, you will visit multi-media and multi-modal research labs and attend another talk by Prof. Sharon Oviatt. [talk summary]
(3) sightseeing of temples in Kyoto (approx. $100 including lunch)
In this tour, you will first have a Kyoto-style lunch in a traditional restaurant, and then visit temples famous for the beautiful autumn scene, including Kiyomizu-dera and Tofuku-ji.
